As principal of the school I am delighted to welcome you to our school website.

I hope that you will gain some insight into the day-to-day activities of our school through exploring the website.

Hi I am Kieran the school therapy dog. I started in St David’s on the 18th of June 2025. My role is to support students and staff throughout their school day. I aim to improve wellbeing, mental health, anxiety, absenteeism and staff and student morale.
My favourite thing about school is all the hugs, cuddles and “hello”s I get everyday. I have made some beautiful friendships already, and I can’t wait to see what the future brings. When I am not in school I can be found walking the beach in Rush with Mr Moore, Susan and my older sister dog Bailey, or the Northside parks with Natasha, my humans at her house, and my 2 other older sister dogs Coco and Roxy.
I train every 2 weeks with my siblings at various schools in our area, that is great fun and I always look forward to seeing them all.

I have been teaching in St. David’s since September 2005 and have enjoyed every moment!

I’ve been lucky enough to teach junior infants right up to 6th class. I have an A.P. 1 post and am in charge of literacy in the school.

I have a Masters in Children’s Literature and try to create a love of reading in the school.

In my spare time I’m a member of Baldoyle Musical Society.

This is my fifth year teaching in St David’s NS. I have taught a wide range of classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class in a variety of settings prior to joining the wonderful team in this school.

I have a lifelong love of learning which I endeavour to pass on to the boys, the sky is the limit so aim high! I promote creativity in learning and I feel the boys in St David’s really benefit from the wide range of activities they experience in our school.

When I’m not teaching I enjoy going to the gym, running and continuing to develop my skillset. I’m in the final year of my Doctoral studies in DCU IoE where I have specialised in Inclusive and Special Education.

I joined the staff in St. David’s in 2016 after working in a mixed school in West Dublin for eight years.

I was delighted to join the team here as I live locally and had heard of the great reputation of the school.  

I am teaching a wonderful group of boys in first class this year.  We make sure to include lots of energetic activity into many of our lessons, after all, a healthy mind needs a healthy body! 

This is my second year teaching in St David’s and I absolutely adore the school! This year I have a wonderful group of second class boys and we have so much fun together! Before moving to St David’s, I was teaching in Swords for 6 years and then moved to the UAE to teach for 2 years. I have a love of sport and play GAA outside school for a local team. I also enjoy going to the gym, running, reading, Manchester United and travelling! My favourite subjects to teach are Science, English and PE. I try my best to bring fun and engaging lessons into my classroom as I love to see the children excited about their learning!

Hello, I’m Ms. Delaney, and this year I am the Special Education Teacher for Junior Infants. I have been teaching for the past 15 years and am passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Irish and Economics from UCD. Following this, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Teaching with Hibernia College. I furthered my education at DCU where I earned a Graduate Diploma in Inclusive Education, Learning Support and Special Education.
I thoroughly enjoy my job, and working in St. David’s makes it even more rewarding thanks to the wonderful children, supportive families, and friendly staff. In my spare time, I enjoy playing music and play the banjo.

This is my first year teaching in St David’s and I am so glad to be apart of the team here. I previously taught in my local area, Wicklow Town for three years before heading to Dublin and teaching in Knocklyon for two years. I was lucky enough to spend the last two years on career break travelling South America and South East Asia. I love to share my travel stories with the boys.

This year I have a super bunch of 4^th class boys who make me laugh everyday, their energy is infectious, and we have so much fun in the classroom together. I have a big interest in sports, particularly GAA and Athletics. My favourite subjects to teach are Gaeilge, PE and Art. I try to make sure my classroom is full of laughter, smiles and lots of active learning!

I feel very lucky to be working a school that really focuses on student well being and inclusion.

I love being a teacher, and especially enjoy teaching in our Autism classes.

I enjoy running and cycling in my spare time.

I lead the Green School Committee for several years. It’s great to see so many boys in our school walking, cycling or scooting to school. 

I am delighted to join the great staff here at St. David’s. This year is my tenth year teaching – a whole decade!  I spent most of that time working in a lovely school in the city centre. I also had the amazing opportunity to work in an International School in China for three years. This year, I am teaching senior infants, which I adore. I love teaching this class group, as it is such a magical age. I love teaching phonics and reading especially. Outside of school, I enjoy keeping active by running, swimming in the sea and doing Pilates. I am currently in training to run my first marathon!

This is my first-year teaching in St David’s National School, and I am absolutely delighted to be part of such a warm and welcoming school community. 

I’m currently teaching a wonderful class of 2^nd class boys, and I’m really enjoying getting to know them and seeing them grow each day. 

Outside of school, I love running, going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and travelling whenever I get a chance. My favourite subject to teach is Gaeilge-I love sharing the language with my class. 

This is my first year teaching in St. David’s, and I am delighted to be part of the team! I previously taught in Cabra for two years before moving to Abu Dhabi, where I taught for a further two years. I was very lucky to do lots of travelling while living there, which is something I really enjoy. Last year, I spent some time subbing in schools across Dublin.

This year, I have a wonderful bunch of Senior Infants, and we are having so much fun learning new things every day. It is such a magical age, and they never fail to make me laugh!

I particularly enjoy teaching Phonics and Art. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends and keeping active.

Hello everyone, my name is Ms.Higgins and I am delighted to be joining the school community here at St. David’s NS as a newly qualified teacher. I have previous experience working in an AS class, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of the importance of creating a nurturing, inclusive and supportive learning environment for every child. I am passionate about building positive relationships with pupils and helping them to reach their full potential.

In my free time, I love going for walks and listening to podcasts. I also love to spend time with family and friends. There are many subjects that I enjoy teaching but I particularly love Maths, English and Art.

I look forward to getting to know the children, staff and wider school community, and to continuing to grow and develop as a teacher.

Before joining St Davids in 2020, I worked for many years as a Montessori teacher.

I feel very lucky to be part of this dynamic team, and look forward to working with the boys in the years ahead.

I started working in St David’s as an SNA in 2018.

Prior to that I was working in the early education centre.

I love dancing and reading.

I started in 2019.

I love reading, cinema and going to the gym.

I’m loving working in all of the different settings in St David’s.

I’ve been working in the school since 2021.

I really enjoy working in the school. It has a great staff and the pupils are brilliant. I love sport. I help with the school soccer team.

I’m a big Glasgow Celtic fan and travel over regularly to watch them play home or away.

I have been working as an SNA for over 10 years. I have the privilege of working in the new AS classes in St David’s since I joined in 2018.

Outside school I enjoy reading, hikes, camping, playing GAA and reading.

I began my new and long awaited career change to a SNA in 2019 at St Davids. Previously I worked within social services, the financial sector and the Armed Forces.

I really enjoy working with the Junior and Senior Infants as they are full of energy and laughter. Everyday is different and it is a privilege to support  the boys as they start their school journey.

Outside of school I love spending time with family and friends, working out, walking my dogs and going to gigs and concerts.

I joined St David’s in 2025 and have loved being part of such a warm and welcoming school community. I really enjoy working in the ASD classes and supporting pupils as they discover their strengths and learn new skills each day. The positive atmosphere in St David’s makes it such a special place to work, and it’s so rewarding to see the children grow in confidence and independence. Before joining St David’s, I worked in both afterschool and Montessori settings, gaining valuable experience supporting children of all ages and abilities. Outside of school, I enjoy exercising, practising mindfulness, trying new foods and restaurants, and spending time with my friends and family.

Hi, I’m Grace! I’m so happy to be part of the team here at St. David’s.

As an SNA, I love helping children feel confident, included, and proud of what they can do. Every day is different, and I really enjoy seeing the children grow, learn, and have fun along the way.

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family, read and play football.

I Joined St. David’s almost 9 years ago – time has flown! It is a joy to work with both the staff and children.

One of my tasks, apart from working with the children, is to display the children’s art work. I love this part of my job as it ties in with my hobby. When the parents come to visit the school, it is lovely for them to see the beautiful work their children have created!

I joined the staff of St David’s BNS in September 2021 and the boys and staff have made me feel so welcome. I look forward to spending many years working as an SNA!

The boys and staff are great and there is such a happy atmosphere in the school.

In my spare I time Iove Art, cake decorating and going for walks.
